Day 5 - buzzed

It took quite a while to get out of the house today - its the first day in weeks I've had nothing to do, no plans, no nothing - so I laid around until 7pm, haha. It was glorious!

On my way out, I found this little guy crawling around the ground, and took my chance to try some macro shots! I couldn't figure out my macro lens for the life of me (I blame my blindness, lol) so this one was shot with auto focus. Still lovely. Such beautiful little creatures, even though a sting could kill me!

Day 4 - Bright and Early!

Today is an absolutely insane day at work. The pressure is on from 8am to 3pm today, minus this momentary (and very sneaky) stress reliever of me blogging on company time, haha. But seriously - I need this or else my brain might explode all over their office.

This morning I was stopped at a traffic light, so I grabbed my camera and attempted to snap some quick shots of the pretty flowers growing in the median... and failed. But I failed in the greatest possible way, because the background of my intended subject was an abandoned gas station. I'm okay with that. Picture save!

Day 3 - I like big butts...

...and I cannot lie.

But seriously.
This butt isn't that big. But its really cute and scaly!

Day 2 - and what a day it was.

So far, so good. I followed up! Probably because the whole day was royally screwed due to an intense volume of work. But see, I'm okay with that when we're working on fun projects... just wish I had more hours in the day to work AND to do what I want to do.

Today's photo is kind of how my brain feels, and probably what it looks like at this point, too. Haha.

The candles on the patio table seemed like a great idea last night... the sun obviously had other plans for them.

A Girl's First Time - Always Memorable.

Ahhh, my first post. The very beginning of my year of posting daily photos!
Today 7/27, is a special day. Its the deathiversary of my dear grama, who raised me. I want to dedicate this blog to her - she was an inspiration for me to pursue my dreams and to always be a good person, regardless of the situations life puts you in.

The photo I'm choosing today is one from my past, not one that I took today. Mostly because I forgot my camera at work (oops), but also because I want to start this year with a photo I'm proud of. When I took this photo years ago, I swear I could still hear the happy screams of children running through the halls...

 ...class dismissed.
